Maxine studied Ancient History at Swansea University and took the postgraduate Classical Acting course at LAMDA.

In London, Maxine played Vivienne Pressman in the West End production of Dirty Dancing for eighteen months, Dora in Daisy Pulls It Off (West End), Ellen in You’re Gonna Love Tomorrow (Greenwich Playhouse), Sally in Everything’s Great (Wimbledon Studio) and Judith in The Disputation and Eva Frye in The Crystal Den (New End Theatre, Hampstead).
For the Mill At Sonning Theatre: Run For Your Wife, Barefoot in the Park, Strictly Murder, French Without Tears, Don’t Dress For Dinner, Touch & Go and Murder Hunt.
For Chichester Festival Theatre: The Recruiting Officer, The Sea, Helen of Troy, Stretching Strindberg, Unman, Wittering and Zigo, The Dark Tower and A Night Out.
For Cambridge Arts: Jack and the Beanstalk, Aladdin, Dick Whittington.
Her touring credits include Write Me a Murder and A Midsummer Night’s Dream.

Maxine featured in Holby City for the BBC and she has done extensive radio and conference work. When time permits she plays the piano and writes her own music.
