Charles trained at the Webber Douglas Academy of Dramatic Art.
Following several near misses, Charles is absolutely thrilled to be working, finally, in the jewel that is Vienna’s English Theatre.

His theatre credits include: Christopher Isherwood in I Am a Camera (English Theatre of Hamburg); Hiram B. Otis in a musical adaptation of The Canterville Ghost (National tour of Italy); Dr Dee in Horrible Histories (UK tour); Garry Lejeune in Noises Off (New Wolsey Theatre, Ipswich); Norman in A Nightingale Sang (Southwold Summer Theatre); A Chorus of Disapproval (Mercury Theatre, Colchester); Paul Bratter in Barefoot in the Park (The Mill at Sonning); Mr. Kent in The Golden Hour (Concert Artistes Association); Mark Driscoll in Dangerous Obsession, Greg Poynter in Relatively Speaking, Roger Dervish in Outside Edge, Charley Wykeham in Charley’s Aunt and John Danby in Dry Rot (Southwold Summer Theatre); Fred/Fezziwig in A Christmas Carol (Creation Theatre, Oxford); Oliver in As You Like It (Orange Tree Theatre at Arundel); Captain Absolute in The Rivals (Wimbledon Studio Theatre); Tybalt in Romeo and Juliet (Cliveden Open Air Theatre); Emperor/Genie in Aladdin (Musselburgh Theatre, Edinburgh).

His T.V. and film credits include: Eastenders (BBC); Heroes and Villains (One Vision Films); Fired (Virgin Media Shorts); Exhibit A (Bent Films); Tincture of Vervain (Pathétique Films) and Badinage (OH Films).

Charles has recently completed his first radio series Darius Darque, Supernatural Detective for the BBC and has recorded several series of talking books for English learners by Cornelia Funke and Ursel Scheffler in Germany; so no excuses!
