Jean is delighted to be appearing in her third production for Vienna’s English Theatre. In 2006 she played Saunders in Noel Coward’s Fallen Angels and Mrs Harris in Love’s a Luxury.

Jean graduated in drama from Bristol University and since then has performed extensively in theatre, television and radio.

In London’s West End she played Fiona in Fringe Benefits, the last Brian Rix farce at the famous Whitehall Theatre, Doreen in Separate Tables (Apollo Theatre) and Alice in Ramshackle Company (Arts Theatre).

Favourite theatrical roles have included Dorothy in Stepping Out (Stoke), Shen Te in Good Person of Setzuan (Richmond), Connie in Habeas Corpus (Sheffield), Jane in Absurd Person Singular (Oxford), Irene in Funny Peculiar (Plymouth), Hermia in A Midsummer Night’s Dream’ (Southampton), Rebecca in A Chorus of Disapproval (Farnham), Ida in See How They Run (Leicester), Suzette in Don’t Dress for Dinner (Sonning), Mary in How the Other Half Loves (Leatherhead), and Angie in Abigail’s Party for Channel Theatre Company.

Television work includes Day of the Triffids, Hospital Drama, Strike It Rich, St. Vitus Dance and The Bill and radio broadcasts on BBC Radio 4 include The Country Wife, Much Ado About Nothing and The Old Curiosity Shop.

In her free time Jean is interested in theatre, film, art, music, Victorian magic lanterns, gardening and travel and is currently on the look-out for a VW T2 split screen campervan!

She fell totally in love with Vienna on her last visit and is thrilled to be back in this beautiful city.
