Glenn Howard

Greg was born in Oxford, and trained at the Guildford School of Acting, graduating in 1991.� He is delighted to be making his first appearance with Vienna’s English Theatre.� Interestingly, he has played the part of Glenn Howard before in an amateur production, directed by his father, for Towcester Theatre Group way back in 1988

Recent theatre work includes touring God of Carnage for Bath Theatre Royal, understudying Michel and Alain, and going on with Richard E Grant when Roger Allam was indisposed,� That Face (Duke of York’s), Romeo and Juliet (Theatre of Memory), The Sutton Hoo Mob (National Trust) and numerous outings for Eastern Angles Theatre Company, including the festive shows Mansfield Park and Ride, The Bloodbeast Horror, Crampons of Fear, Sherlock Holmes and the Curse of the Mummies Tomb (playing Doctor Watson), The Day the Earth Wobbled a Bit and Pirates of Pinmill.� For the same company he played Melmotte in The Way We Live Now, Panturle in The Song of Provence and many others. He recently finished a season at the beautiful Theatre by the Lake in Keswick playing Maxim de Winter in Rebecca, also Ayckbourn’s Taking Steps and the villainous Captain Fix in the musical Around the World in Eighty Days.

National tours include Wilde’s The Importance of Being Earnest and Shaw’s Candida, both for Yvonne Arnaud Theatre, Guildford.

Greg has been privileged to record a great many audiobooks, from Agatha Christie to Evelyn Waugh for the Talking Book Service of The Royal National Institute of Blind People.

He is also happy for the opportunity to spend some time with his partner Tracy’s parents who are residents of Vienna.
