His numerous theatre credits include Much Ado About Nothing, Peer Gynt, Chips with Everything, The White Devil, MacBeth, Translations, Pride and Prejudice, Salonika, Wild Oats, The Shaughraun, Absent Friends, Les Liaisons Dangereuses, Deathtrap, Same Time Next Year, Bedside Manners, The Maintenance Man, The Business of Murder, Twelve Angry Men, Romantic Comedy, Wife Begins at Forty, The Constant Couple, Brief Encounter, I Remember You, Murder by Misadventure, Alphabetical Order, The Odd Couple, The Graduate (UK tour), Rebecca(UK tour), Dangerous Obsession (UK tour). Most recently he appeared in Lotty’s War (UK Tour).

His London credits include Venice Preserved at the RNT, The Vortex at The Garrick Theatre, Berenice at The Lyric Theatre, Hammersmith, The Millionaires and The Three Sisters at The Greenwich Theatre, The Verge at The Orange Tree Theatre, Richmond and The Castle Spectre at The Croydon Warehouse.

His television credits include Good and Bad Games, A Pocketful of Rye, Paradise Postponed, Murrow, A.D, The Day After The Fair, Hedgehog Wedding, Partners Lovers Spies (NBC USA), The Good Guys, The Bill, Doctor Finlay, McLible, Doctors and Eastenders.

Martyn was recently seen at Vienna’s English Theatre in Donkeys’ Years. He can’t think of many better places to spend working than Vienna.
