Jeff Sturgeon received his Bachelor of Arts degree in theatre from the University of Louisville, in Kentucky- As a young actor, Jeff appeared in numerous musicals such as 1776, Godspell, Annie Get Your Gun and Kiss Me Kate in summer festivals and even Gilbert & Sullivan operettas Off-Off Broadway.

He has played in over forty theatre productions in Austria, (none of them musically oriented), including Oleanna, The Seven Year Itch, Moon Over Buffalo, Driving Miss Daisy, The Complete Works of William Shakespeare, abridged, An Inspector Calls for the International Theatre, Fundus and Vienna Theatre Project and most recently Relatively Speaking in the Kammeroper for Art4Charity.

He has appeared in Event Austria’s Dinner and Crime dinner theatre productions in both German and English and was the program director of Monday Night English, a monthly evening of literature readings in the FUNDUS, from 1999 to 2006.

He can also count TV commercials for Austrian and Eastern European markets among his credits, including those for OMV, Telekabel/Telekino, ONE, and VW. He is looking forward to this, his first Vienna’s English Theatre production, greatly.
