Lynsey Beauchamp

Lynsey was born in New Brunswick, Canada, and a peripatetic childhood was spent in Alaska, Mississippi and San Francisco before her family settled in London when Lynsey was 10.
She trained at Arts Educational, and started her theatre career in repertory, where favourite plays included
The Rivals, The Heiress, You Never Can Tell, The Cure For Love, Hamlet, Bye Bye Love, Welcome to the Family, Beside the Sea, Gulliver’s Travels, As I Lay Dying and
Britannicus. She has toured the UK in
Hobson’s Choice, Four Nights in Knaresborough and, this year,
She Stoops to Conquer, and has toured internationally to Iraq and the Gulf in
Hamlet. Lynsey has performed in Prague with Czech company Studio Ypsilon
, and has played at the Royal Shakespeare Company and at the National Theatre, in
Richard III, Titus Andronicus and
Closer, which also toured to Russia and the Czech Republic.
Lynsey’s filming adventures include spending a month in Morocco within grabbing distance of Brad Pitt for the film
Babel, and fending off Faye Dunaway’s evil heroine in
Supergirl. On British television she played Anna in
Anna of the Five Towns and Constance in
Sophia & Constance. Other appearances include
Silent Witness, The Inspector Alleyn Mysteries, Bergerac, Kinsey, Grange Hill, Tender Is The Night, The Grey Lady of Glamis, Urban Legends and
Singles.
