James trained at the Bristol Old Vic Theatre School, and is delighted to be appearing with Vienna’s English Theatre.
Since graduating in 2004 he has mainly lived out of a suitcase, touring Britain with various productions including Dennis Potter’s
Blue Remembered Hills; the classic British comedy
Sailor, Beware; JB Priestley’s drama
Dangerous Corner and the farce
Come On, Jeeves by PG Wodehouse.
He has also appeared in two Christmas productions for the Cheltenham Everyman Theatre: the black comedy
The Night Before Christmasand a stage adaptation of Hans Christian Andersen’s
The Ugly Duckling.
On television James appeared, ever so briefly, as a barrister in
The Trial of Tony Blair for Channel 4. He is also the author of three plays:
The Jeffersons which was produced at the Bristol Old Vic Studio and
Unrequited, produced at the Old Red Lion Theatre, London in 2007. His latest play�
Farmhands was shortlisted for the International Playwriting
Festival Award.
