Pamela Banks
Judy, a girl
Since graduating from the Webber Douglas Academy of Dramatic Art, two years ago, Pamela feels very fortunate to have tried a bit of everything! A film she worked on last year is now complete,
Reverb is to be released in the UK, soon. Most recently Pamela played the female lead in
Hooligan Nights - a new musical drama written for
BBC Radio 3.
Her theatre credits include
Not Now, Darling at the Mill, Sonning and
Love’s a Luxury, in which she played ‘Fritzy Villiers’ – here at Vienna’s English Theatre last year! Other credits include
Cymbeline at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival;
The Tempest at Cliveden Open Air Theatre;
The Final Curtain (stage combat demonstration) for Global Television and the character of ‘Lady Adriana’ in the television project
Honour. At Webber Douglas, Pamela played ‘Sally Durant Plummer’ in
Follies, ‘Fay Hubbard’ in
A Chorus of Disapproval; and ‘Josephine’ in Lady Gregory’s
Dave.
Pamela is a classically trained singer and has also sung jazz professionally for several years. In March she entered
BBC Radio Oxford’s ‘Big Talent’ search, and was pleased to reach the top five- and raise over £300 for Comic Relief.
Finally, Pamela is very excited to be spending another Summer with you in Vienna.
