Matt was nominated for a New York Drama Desk Award for his performance in Working on Broadway where he also starred in the original Grease. Off-Broadway credits include Perfect Crime, Godspell and Momma’s Little Angels. More recent New York credits are Deborah Warner’s The Angel Project at Lincoln Center, and works at LaMaMa in the East Village, and the Ohio Theater in SoHo. In US Regional theatre, Mr. Landers starred as Pablo Picasso in the new play A Picasso at the Repertory Theater of St. Louis. In California he performed leading roles in the World Premiere’s of Ron Ribman’s The Rug Merchants of Chaos and The Tin Pan Alley Rag, both at the Pasadena Playhouse, Company with Carol Burnett at Long Beach Civic and Light Sensitive at The Old Globe, San Diego. He toured nationally with Ann-Margret in The Best Little Whorehouse in Texas.

On television there are recurring roles in NYPD Blue, Days of Our Lives, The George Carlin Show and featured roles in Law & Order, ER, Arliss, Ellen, L.A. Law, Wiseguy, Sinatra & The Flash to name a few. Feature film credits include 48 Hours, Die Hard, Commando, Ricochet, Down Periscope and the Academy Award winning Best Live Action Short Ray’s Male Heterosexual Dance Hall. He enjoyed playing leads in the low-budget Independent films Galaxies are Colliding, Reptilian, Nowhere Land and Jacks or Better and will appear with W.H.
