Originally from Dublin, Louis has worked extensively in theatre throughout the UK and Europe. Roles include Hero in Brothers of the Brush at Liverpool Everyman, Harry Lawless in The Last Apache Reunion at Bristol, Jean in Miss Julie (UK tour) and Leontes in The Winters Tale at Edinburgh Festival.

Last year Louis starred in his first feature film playing Gilly in Shooters, for which he also co-wrote the script.
