Lynden trained in London with the National Youth Theatre of Great Britain, and at the Webber Douglas Academy.

His theatre credits include Voltaire in MaratiSade (Playhouse, West End), Charles Darnay
in A Tale of Two Cities (Theatre Royal Windsor and Birmingham Alexandra), Romeo in Romeo and Juliet, Launcelot Gobbo in The Merehant of Venice, and Claudio in Measure for Measure (Simply Shakespeare), Albany in King Lear (Albany Empire), Hastings in She Stoops to Conquer (Northern Stage), Belvawney in Engaged (Perth Rep), The Iron Man (Young Vic), Robert in The Ladies of the Corridor (The Steam Industry), A Christmas Carol (Theatr Clwyd/Theatre Royal Nottingham) and Christopher Wren in The Mousetrap
(St Martins, West End).

His musical theatre credits include Les Miserables (The Palace Theatre London/Manchester), Rapunzels Prince in Into the Woods (The Byre, St Andrews), Curly in Oklahoma!, Adam in Seven Brides for Seven Brothers, Cable in South Pacific, Sky Masterson in Guys and Dolls, Billy Bigalow in Carousel and Young Scrooge in Serooge! (Rep/tours), Benny in Her Benny (Liverpool Empire) and Out of the Blue (Shaftsbury, West End).

His roles in operetta include Danilo in The Merry Widow (National Tour and West End) and Ralph Rackstraw in HMS Pinafore (Covent Garden Festival).

His film and television credits include Hubert Bland in An Awfully Big Adventure (BBC), The Magie Sword (Warner Bros.) and Gregory in Romeo and Juliet (HP/ICM).
