Karen started her career at the very early age of four on Junior Showtime! Her West End credits began at the Victoria Palace Theatre as July in Annie. Others include Chorus and Peggy Sawyer in 42nd Street and The Fleets In (Theatre Royal, Drury Lane) , The
Styne way (Palladium), Poopsie in The Pajama Game (Victoria Palace), several appearances in Old Tyme Music Hall at the famous Players Theatre, Maisie in The Boy Friend both in London and on the National Tour and Polly Appletree in The Great Big Radio Show at The Bridewell.

Favourite parts in Regional Theatre include Susie Trevor in Lady Be Good, Galatea in Boys ftom Syracuse (Crucible Sheffield), Verona in Leave Him to Heaven, Gladys in A Child in the Forest and Dorothy in The Wizard of Oz (Cheltenham), Annie in Alfie, Ruby in Dames at Sea (Oldham), Frenchy in Grease (Derby), Sally Smith in Me and My Girl and Ado Annie in Oklahoma (Perth), Lucille in A Fool and His Money (Nottingham and Birmingham Rep), Gwendolyn in The Importance of Being Earnest (Worcester) and Diane in Pal Joey at Chichester. For most of 2001 Karen was on tour in Spend Spend Spend.

She has appeared in numerous pantomimes around the country most recendly in the role of Fairy Bow Beils in Dick Whittington at Worthing. Other pantomimes include Aladdin, Mother Goose and Cinderella at Nottingham, Dick Whittington at Salisbury and Cinderella at Basingstoke and she has played both Wendy and the tide role in Peter Pan.

Her television credits include Crackerjack, Betty Stansfield in Pride of Our Alley, two Royal Variety Shows, Night of One Hundred Stars, Sam in Dr. Who and Tina in Out of Sight.
