A native of Liverpool, Eithne’s debut was in Willy Russell’s Blood Brothers which transferred to London’s West End where she took the lead role in over 50 performances. A versatile actress and singer, at home in a French farce or rock musical, her theatre credits include Two, Brick Up the Tunnels, Funny Money, Lost Soul, 8 Miles High Royal Court Theatre, Liverpool); Blood Brothers, The Odd Couple, Awfully Big Adventure, Tartuffe (Liverpool Playhouse Theatre); Stags and Hens (Young Vic, London); Quicksand, The Rise and Fall of Little Voice, Home Fires (Duke’s Theatre, Lancaster); Say Who You Are, Intent to Murder (Vienna’s English Theatre); To Kill a Mockingbird (New Vic, Stoke); A Sense of Justice (Perth Repertory); The Secret Garden (Byre Theatre, St. Andrews); Alfie, 8 Miles High, Pocket Dream (Octagon Theatre, Bolton); A Month in the Country, Billy Liar (Salisbury Playhouse); Shirley Valentine (Northcott Theatre, Exeter); Wish You Were Here, The Beat Goes On (Everyman Theatre, Liverpool).

National tours include Abigail’s Party, Educating Rita, The Full Monty, WutheringHeights, Tartuffe and An Inspector Calls.

Eithne’s TV credits include Coup, Room at the Top, Waterloo Road, Power of Poetry, Doctors, Peacekeepers, Cold Feet, Brookside.

Her Radio credits include Tartuffe, In Loving Memory, Secrets in Sepia, and Silver Grey.

This is Eithne’s third visit to Vienna. She is delighted to be working again in this beautiful, welcoming city – and once again wielding her duster!
