Mark Raterman moved to Chicago from beautiful Virginia in 2003 to pursue his love of sketch and improv comedy and inadvertently began saving the world through administrative work.  Mark has studied at the Second City Training Center, i.O. Theater and the Annoyance Theater in Chicago, and is a former ensemble member and artistic director of Washington Improv Theater in our nation’s capital.  He has also written, directed and performed sketch comedy on stage and on camera for thousands of years beginning when his father brought home a video recording device from the future. He is unabashedly excited about working with the Second City.
